MEF Teaching Courses
The MEF has organized a number of training events through its subsidiary organization “The Muslim Teachers Network”.
Neuro- Linguistic Programming: April 2007 – Funded by Campus Luton
In April 2007 the Muslim Teachers’ Network hosted its first successful training session. It was held at Putteridge Bury in Luton and attended by 35 delegates from in and around Luton who all worked within the education sector. The course concentrated on Neuro-Linguistic Programming and was hosted by NLP instructor Ehsan Hannan - the course was eye opening, informative and extremely well-received by all delegates.
Emotional Intelligence: April 2008 – Funded by Campus Luton
The next MTN training course is due to take place on Saturday 12th of April in Luton at Challney High School for Girls. It will be conducted by trainer Marziyah Panju, on the subject of Emotional Intelligence in the classroom. This course is intended to challenge the way in which teachers perceive how a students learning experience unfolds and how certain aspects can be harnessed to further their learning.
